About the event

Conference AIR “Airport Innovation Roundtable for Central Europe” is an event organized by V4+ Airports Association. The idea behind it is to create a platform where aviation industry professionals can meet and discuss topics related to all essential aspects of the industry.

The concept of roundtable, which has become a permanent part of our history, for us is a symbol of freedom restoration and democracy, both in Poland and Europe, as well as openness for new ideas and solutions.

Our idea is to connect representatives of various countries and various communities related to the aviation industry in order to search for synergies and innovations in our sector of the economy.

AIR2023 is the second edition of the conference. This year innovation remains the most important element. We will talk about newness, both in areas classically associated with new technologies, such as the airport’s IT industry, and innovations in more unexpected areas, such as non-aviation services sales, specialized education, and tourism in the sector and beyond.

The main debate will be devoted to major global trends concerning opportunities and threats to the aviation industry. A separate panel will focus on the impact of the Artificial Intelligence development on Airport Management. Other panels will discuss technical and management issues in context of innovations.

We are pleased to announce that among others we are being supported by such partnering organizations as, IATA, SITA, and the Polish Tourism Organization (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna). We are proud to announce that Mr. Zbigniew Rau, the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, has took over his patronage over the event, while Polish Airports is the Strategic Partner of the conference.

Just for our guests

Tour in the Bohinj Valley

Bohinj is a paradise valley embraced by the Julian Alps. Lake Bohinj that lies in the heart of the Triglav National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Europe, is the largest Slovenian natural lake, nested at the foot of unspoilt mountains and mountain tops.

Welcome Reception / Hotel Bohinj

The Welcome Reception will take place at the Hotel Bohinj in Bohinj.
It is a chance to catch-up with friends, meet new people, make connections, and discuss the days sessions, testing ideas and finding new insights with great company.

Run Around the Lake – Bled (6km)

We would like to invite our conference attendees “to warm up” before the main event of the day. The run around the lake is a great way to cheer up before the conference, and at the same time get to know picturesque Bled from the best side, from the water. Everyone who likes to spend time actively is more than welcome. The distance is 6 kilometers, we meet at 07:30 (Sept. 19th) at the lake. This activity is free of charge – just sign up in advance while registering for the event. We’d love to see you there!

Gala Diner / Grand Hotel Toplice

Members of our association and VIP guests are invited to the gala dinner, which will take place in Grand Hotel Toplice. It is located on the Lake Bled shore, from where you can enjoy the most fascinating views of the lake, the island of Bled and the Bled castle.
This hotel has the longest history and tradition in the city of Bled. Stories are whispered here through the rustic parquet underfoot and furniture with more than 80 years of history. Here you will be transported to the world where time passes more slowly.
For the finale the organizers have prepared an evening surprise for the conference participants.
