About the event

The prevention and management of travellers’ health problems will be the subject of the first conference on travel medicine organised by the V4+ Airports Association in cooperation with the Regional Medical Chamber in Warsaw. The strategic partner of the event is ‘Polish Airports’ State Enterprise the operator of Warsaw Chopin Airport and other airports.

The knowledge of the experts from the Medical Chamber, together with the experience of practitioners of airport emergency services, will serve as the basis for presenting the participants with a substantive and, at the same time, very interesting programme of the event dedicated to medical professionals, airport managers and representatives of the tourism industry who have direct contact with thousands of people travelling abroad.

The programme of the one-day conference will address the health problems of people using air transport from the planning stage – preparation for travel – to the journey that begins once they enter the airport terminal.

The programme will consist of both lectures and panel discussions. The international character of the event will allow us to look at a given problem from a broader perspective.

The event will take place in Warsaw, at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Warsaw Mokotow. It will be attended by approximately 150 participants, including doctors, paramedics, airport managers and representatives of the tourism industry.

The conference will be held in Polish – with simultaneous translation into English.
