The V4+ Association and IGA Istanbul invite you to a StudyTour of one of the largest airports in Europe. Thanks to cooperation with IGA Istnabul, during an exclusive trip organized by the hosts participants of the tour will be able to get acquainted with the airport infrastructure.

The agenda of the event includes:

● arrival in Istanbul – transfer to the recommended hotel

● free time

● dinner

01/02/2024

● transfer from the Marriott Hotel at 08:30 to IGA airport – facility tour

● full-day airport tour & IGA Academy tours

● transfer to the hotel / free time / dinner

The touring event is designed for management of Central European airports. The number of slots is limited. We accept registrations until January 5, 2024 or until the limit of slots is reached. You can register up to 2 participants per airport.

The cost of participating in the event includes:

● IGA airport & Academy tours and associated transfers (Feb.1, 2024)

● gala dinner on January 31, 2024.

● guide’s supervision

The cost of participation does not include:

● costs related to the flight to/from Istanbul

● accommodation costs

Participation cost for association members: EUR300 /person

Istanbul Airport is the larger of two international airports serving Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Arnavutköy district on the European side of the city 35 km from the city centre. It served more than 64 million passengers in 2022, making it the busiest airport in Europe and 7th-busiest airport in the world in terms of total passenger traffic and, by serving more than 48 million international passengers, the 5th-busiest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic according to ACI World traffic values. It serves up to 114 countries and is the hub for Turkish Airlines. It is estimated to be the second largest greenhouse gas emitter in Turkey.

The construction plan of the airport was divided into four phases. Within the scope of the first phase, currently there are three runways and a terminal building with a 90-million passenger capacity. When all phases are completed, iGA Istanbul Airport will offer flights to more than 300 destinations with an annual passenger capacity of 200 million.
