About the event
Conference AIR “Airport Innovation Roundtable for Central Europe” is an event organized by V4+ Airport Association. The idea behind it is to create a platform where aviation industry professionals can meet and discuss topics related to all essential aspects of the industry.
The roundtable, which has become a permanent part of our history is for us a symbol of freedom restoration and democracy, both in Poland and Europe, as well as openness for new ideas and solutions.
Our idea is to connect representatives of various countries and various communities related to the aviation industry in order to search for synergies and innovations in our sector of the economy.
AIR2023 is the second edition of conference. Innovation will remain the most important element. We will talk about innovations, both in areas classically associated with new technologies, such as the airport’s IT industry. We will also show innovations in more unexpected areas, such as the sale of non- aviation services, education, and tourism.
The main debate will be devoted to major global trends concerning opportunities and threats to the aviation. A separate panel will focus on the impact of the artificial intelligence development on airport management. The remaining panels will discuss technical and management issues in context of innovations.
We are pleased the partnership has already been accepted by, among others, IATA, SITA, and the Polish Tourism Organization (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna). Moreover, the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Zbigniew Raul has assumed the patronage over the event among other sponsors.
Polish Airports will be the Strategic Partner of the event.

Tour in the Bohinj Valley
Bohinj is a paradise valley embraced by the Julian Alps. Lake Bohinj that lies in the heart of the Triglav National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Europe, is the largest Slovenian natural lake, nested at the foot of unspoilt mountains and mountain tops.

It will provide an informal setting for meeting up with friends & colleagues old and new.
Run Around Lake – Bled (6km)
We would like to invite our conference participants “to warm up” before the main event of the day. The run around the lake is a great opportunity to warm up before the conference, and at the same time get to know picturesque Bled from the best side, from the water. Everyone who likes to spend time actively is welcome. The distance is 6 kilometers, we meet on September 19 at 07:30 on the lake. This point of the program is free – just sign up in advance at registration. You are cordially invited
Gala Diner / Grand Hotel Toplice
Members of our association and guests with VIP status are invited to the gala dinner. The gala will be held at the Grand Hotel Toplice. It is located on the shore of Lake Bled, from where you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the lake, the island of Bled and the Bled castle.
It is the hotel with the longest tradition in Bled. Stories are whispered here through the rustic parquet underfoot and furniture with more than 80 years of history. Here you will be transported to a world where time passes more slowly.
At the end of the conference, the organizers have prepared an evening surprise for conference participants.

The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Rikli Balance Hotel conference venue.

When and where will the event be held?
Our event will be held on September 18-19, 2023 in Slovenia in the picturesque town of Bled.
Nestled among the Alps, the lake is one of Slovenia’s top tourist attractions. We are convinced that both Bled and the Rikli Balance Hotel are the best option 😉
The day before the conference, i.e. September 18, we will invite the event participants to visit the neighboring Bohinj Valley. After visiting the most interesting attractions of Bohinj, we will meet at the Welcome Reception at the Bohinj Hotel.

Travel by car on AIR2023
Bled is located practically on the highway connecting Ljubljana with the Austrian border. Paid parking with a limited number of spaces will be available for conference participants. Fee directly at the facility.
